Sunday, January 2, 2022: (the Epiphany of the Lord)
Jesus said: “My people, the Magi came to Me bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They came to King Herod in search of the new born King, and they were directed to Bethlehem according to the Scriptures. They found Me and gave praise to My birth. They also avoided King Herod on the way back to their home by another route. King Herod wanted to see Me, but he truly wanted to kill Me, which is why he sent his soldiers to kill all the infants in Bethlehem. St. Joseph was warned in a dream to take Me and My Blessed Mother to Egypt.”
