Tuesday, June 9, 2026: (St. Ephrem)
Jesus said: “My people, in the first reading Elijah traveled to Zarapath in Sidon to a widow’s house, and he asked for a cup of water and for a little cake to eat. He prophesied that her oil and flour would not go empty. The woman, her son, and Elijah were able to eat for a year during a famine. In the Gospel I told the people how salt was important, and I am the salt of the earth. I also told them that I am the Light to the world, and I gave My apostles a mission to share My Light with the people so they would hear My saving words. I call My faithful of today to also go out and share My words of My Resurrection. By your actions people will know you are Christians.”

Jesus said: “My son, you also have a twenty gallon cistern to store your well water which gets pumped up to your faucets and toilets by your solar power. You have less pressure than your town water line, but you will have water from your water well in a power outage. You even have a hand pump that works as a backup if your power is not working in the winter. You also have many blue 55 gallon food grade barrels full of water. It is important to have plenty of water because you cannot survive without water. I will multiply your water for all of the needs of your people who come to your refuge.”
