Jesus said: “My people, in the first reading St. Paul was making himself a good example for others to imitate him. He worked hard to provide his own food, and he instructed the people to not be lazy or they could not eat. St. Paul also had a special signature so the people knew the letter came from him. In the Gospel I was calling the Scribes and Pharisees hypocrites because on the outside they looked good, but inside they were filled with dead man’s bones and filth. The Pharisees tried to make excuses for killing the prophets, but in fact they wanted to kill Me and My apostles. They were too comfortable with their priestly positions, and they saw Me and My apostles as a threat to their control over the people. My miracles were drawing the people’s attention to Me, so they wanted to kill us to have their control over the people. Trust in Me to protect you from the evil ones.”

(Mary Lou Swetz Mass intention) Jesus said: “My people, Mary Lou was your wife’s cousin and she lived in Canandaigua. N.Y. You went to see her laid out at the funeral home. She had a fall and her face was swollen. She had some health problems and you prayed for her soul. She will be a short time in purgatory. Keep praying for her soul and have Masses said for her.”
