Sunday, August 31. 2025:
Jesus said: “My people, there are some people who direct their lives on how other people think of them. Instead, you should direct your lives on how to please Me, your Creator. In the Gospel I gave a parable on how people strive for places of honor at a wedding banquet. It is better to take lower places of honor so you may be raised up higher by your host, than those people who took places of honor that were replaced by more important dignitaries. Those people, who are humble, will be exalted. But those people, who are exalted, will be humbled. Seek first the kingdom of God, and everything else will be given to you. Trust in My judgment of your deeds throughout your life, and you will have a just reward.”
