Thursday, June 19, 2014: (St. Romuald)
Jesus said: “My people, for those who live in the world, a monastic life is hard to understand. The monks live almost as hermits, except that they come together for prayers and meals. In the Gospel you were given My ‘Our Father’ prayer that I gave to My apostles to show them how to pray. When you pray the rosary, you add ‘Hail Mary’ and ‘Glory Be’ prayers. The monks pray in silence many hours, while many of you are fortunate to pray even one hour. It is also important to pray at least for a short time in quiet in contemplative prayer, so you can listen how I talk to your heart. Having a daily prayer life is good to keep your focus on following My ways instead of your ways. In your prayers you can give your petitions, and pray for sinners and the souls in purgatory. Prayer keeps you grounded in your faith, so you do not let worldly concerns consume all of your time. Keep Me at the center of your life, so you are doing everything out of love for Me.”

Prayer Group:
Jesus said: “My people, when you come to Mass on Sunday, you are grateful to have a priest for Mass and a viable church. For those parishes who are in danger of closing, you start to realize how important it is to keep your church open. You have many memories of your children and grandchildren who were baptized and they received their First Holy Communion at your parish church. You may even have had weddings or funerals there as well. Be thankful for your home parish for as long as it can stay open.”

Jesus said: “My people, you have seen some devastated homes from tornadoes where families have lost everything of their possessions. First, you are happy if there is no loss of life. You can replace buildings, but not the loss of your family members. You can see how quickly your possessions can be taken away from you. So do not be attached to things that age and become obsolete. In other words, it is your spiritual life in your soul that will last forever, so guard your soul from sin and keep it holy with frequent Confession.”

Jesus said: “My people, many of you remember how joyful you were to finally graduate from high school or college. This was one of many milestones in your lives. Getting a proper education is a first step in preparing you for a job and making a living for a future family. As parents and grandparents, you are joyful when your children or grandchildren graduate from high school or college. Many of the speeches are uplifting to the students who are going on to college, or they will be seeking their first job. Finding good paying jobs is getting more difficult when such jobs are in short supply, and some graduates have to find work in other professions than what they took in college. Pray for your relatives that are just starting out in life, because you can remember all the trials that you had at their age.”

Jesus said: “My people, you go through life, and you try to eat healthy and take good care of your body. As you live day after day, you do not imagine how delicate your health is, and how quickly you could have to deal with a chronic condition or a terminal illness. You see people all around you with cancers or other illnesses, especially if you visit someone at a hospital. Thank Me for your health for as long as you can do things in your work. Many times you are sending Me petitions to heal these sick people. Some are healed, but some also pass away from their illness. Your life on earth is short, so live it to the fullest of your talents in helping people to survive.”

Jesus said: “My people, when you are able to see how people of various states live, they are dealing with similar bills and needs that you have. Some have different levels of income, but many had to work for what they had accomplished. Some also need some government assistance to keep living in a home or a high rise apartment. You want to encourage such people in their education so they could help themselves. Even if you may be better off than others, you still want to see people get what they need for food and housing. Pray for those people in the world who do not have their needs met for food and shelter.”

Jesus said: “My people of America, you have been fortunate to live in a peaceful nation with plenty of opportunities for jobs and freedoms. In other countries as Syria and Iraq, these people have to suffer wars in their backyards, and obtaining food and water is difficult. Even some nations have repressive governments that take away many freedoms. Pray for all peoples who have to struggle every day just to survive.”

Jesus said: “My people, you are seeing some of your freedoms being taken away, but compared to other countries, you have a very good standard of living at all levels of income. Freedom from tyrant rulers is a blessing, even if you have some complaints about your leaders. With a democratic republic you have some choices how your government should be run. You still are dealing with the one world people who are working on a world take over with the Antichrist. Have no fear because in the end, you will see My victory over all the evil ones of today.”

Wednesday, June 18, 2014:
Jesus said: “My people, in the Gospel I am inviting My people to live their Lenten devotions all year long. When you pray, do not tell people how many rosaries that you pray, so you are not bragging. Remember Me in your daily offerings, and make some time to pray to Me every day. When you are giving alms to the poor or to the Church, do not let people know how much you are giving. Also, you need to share with a meaningful donation, according to your means, and not just a token amount. You should also make an effort to do some fasting a few days every week. Try to fast from something you like on Wednesdays and Fridays, but remember to be faithful to it without being lazy. Fasting is a way to restrain the body from doing sinful behavior. During Lent you are also focused on getting to Confession more frequently. By remembering to give honor to Me in your prayers, almsgiving, and fasting, you can live a better Christian life of carrying your daily cross.”

Jesus said: “My people, you sometimes include the souls in purgatory in your prayer intentions. Many of you have not seen how much these souls are suffering, so you do not realize how desperate they are for your prayers and Masses. Some souls in purgatory have been allowed to make some signs to their living relatives and friends on earth for prayers. Some people have gifts to know if a certain soul is still in purgatory. Your heart goes out to those souls, who are suffering in purgatory, but your prayers can help advance them out of lower purgatory into upper purgatory where there are no flames. Keep offering up Masses for souls that you know who are still in purgatory. You can also offer up your Masses that you attend for the poor souls in purgatory, as well as your prayers. These souls cannot help themselves, but they need to rely on your help in your prayers to bring them out of purgatory. Think of the possibility that your own soul may have to be purified in purgatory after your particular judgment at death. If you will suffer in purgatory, then you will want your relatives and friends to offer up Masses and prayers for your soul’s freedom to come to heaven. This is why you need to always remember to pray for the poor souls who are still languishing in the suffering of purgatory.”
